Power Collector – A Hybrid Solar Panel
The Solarus PowerCollector™ is both a concentrating, solar photovoltaic and solar thermal panel: a hybrid solar panel. The concentrating aspect is achieved by a curved mirror to collect and reflect more sunlight throughout the day. Hybrid means that it combines solar photovoltaic (PV) generation of electricity with solar thermal (T) generation heat. The revolutionary 70% energy yield of the PowerCollector™ means 700W per square meter, 1500W per panel, which means one Power Collector solar panel can generate four times more power than a standard solar panel with the same surface area.
